10 years of web design experience, including 8 with CSS & web standards. Have presented on usability testing in higher education at the HighEdWebDev conference. Started personal blog in 2001, have used blog tools in higher education and commercial settings as well. Worked with community college students during my work as a college web manager, spoke in community college classes on professional web design issues. Taught web design in summer camp for 9-11 year old kids.

How many hats can one woman wear?
I'm an expert in fields from the Mac (since 1992), Web development (since 1995), programming (since 1977--yes, really), online communities (since 1994), and weblogging (since 1999). I've written and taught about all of these, and more. I've authored or co-authored:
• "Ajax Essential Training" video course (Lynda.com, 2008)
• "JavaScript Essential Training" video course (Lynda.com, 2007)
• "Dreamweaver CS3 for Windows & Macintosh: Visual QuickStart Guide" (Peachpit Press, 2007)
