I currently work in online communications for Derbyshire County Council with responsibility for website content and authors, training on our content management system and writing for the web, accessibility, usability, search, stats analysis, social media, innovation and digital engagement.

I am also a Masters student working toward an MA in eCommunications and will undertake my thesis in 2010 on social media in local government internal communications.

Over the past few years Kate has worked with marketing teams to deliver integrated digital marketing strategies. Her focus is online collaboration, social media, digital integration, email and search marketing. Kate has done postgraduate work in management and e-commerce and is currently studying law part-time.
