An ex-college professor, Lucretia used to teach Computer Information Systems (CIS) to hapless undergraduate students who were planning to use the degree to advance in the computing and IT fields. As such, she is quite comfortable standing up in front of geeks and presenting to audiences of varying skill levels from novice to advanced, hard-core coder to business executive in charge of leading a company into its technological future.

She has a passion for all things geek - but a special devotion to all things Social Media oriented. Self-identifying as a 'Social Media Devotee' she maintains an active presence on most popular social networking and new media platforms, but seems to live on Twitter when she's not offline parenting (or as she calls it 'organically programming the hardware of offspring 1.0') and believes that these tools & their successors will be ubiquitous and essential to the Generation Y business models of tomorrow.
