I provide consultancy services to the digital industries and help all other sector to understand all things digital - including web marketing, e-commerce and digital strategies. I've been involved in all kind of projects particularly involving cross-platform productions - establishing IPTV channels, video-led websites, machinima, social media e-drama - and I specialise in looking at innovation led strategies to content and technology.

Recent publications include 'Disruptive Innovation for the Creative Industries' (Creative Sheffield, 2009) and a Masters on the challenges of digital marketing and distribution for independent music entrepreneurs. My background is in digital content production in the music, tv and radio industries. I've also worked for several regional development agencies in the UK on policy and funding projects for the creative industries.

As a speaker i like to present the historic context and theory behind current trends to put them in context and see where things are going - I'm not a pure technology evangelist! I present an in-depth account of all the subjects I speak about.

I'm also a practicing musician and am famed for my skills as a virtuoso theremin player! (v. geeky!)
